An old abandoned fishing hut just above the beach in Karkavac Cove, which was only used during the summer, has been turned into a lovely tavern by Ivo Jakas. He is a fisherman, vine grower, wine maker and olive oil producer, so this forms a solid base for the excellent local food he serves. During the day, his guests are usually day trippers from Zavala or Ivan Dolac, but in the evening, sailors anchoring overnight in Lovišće Bay are his regulars. Fish from the grill, fish from the oven or fish stews are usually on the table.
