At first a sensationally decorated cellar refurbished by the famous diver and coral-fisher Tonko Borčić, for himself and his friends, Bako has grown into one of the best restaurants in Komiža. The interior is a like a small museum of underwater archaeology, while the terrace literally meets the sea. The second generation of the family have continued to base their tasty, unpretentious creations on local fishing tradition.
